    Hi i am new to this site my name is ian,enjoying reading articles on here.Thought i would a post a question myself.I hav a 2012 speedmaster and i have a very intermittent problem that when i go down hills my bike has cut out acting as though short of fuel just wondered if anyone else had problem.Its been back to triumph cant find a problem. Thanks

    Hi Ian, I've had problems with my 2011 America cutting out in the past, seems they're very sensitive to engine idle speed, if this is set, even a couple of hundred rpm low, the bike will cut out. Pidcocks have had to adjust mine a couple of times, once when new, & after I had the TORs fitted. You can increase it yourself using the idle screw, see if it makes any difference, but obviously it'll need plugging into the dealers laptop to get it spot on.

    Hi & welcome aboard. Ive had to increase my tickover slightly since fitting long TORS on my 07 America.

    Hi welcome to the forum, sorry to hear your first post on here is regarding problems with your new bike. I'm no good when it comes to technical machinery I can't even use Lego properly :mad:

    Hi welcome to the forum, the nice thing about joining a newish forum is you get to pick the the best forum names (like I err didn't!). Not much help on the cut out front sorry.
