    can anyone tell me what the carbon is on the rs is it plain high gloss or twill high gloss thanks

    think its hi gloss twill thats what I have got for mine and seems to match up fine mate I've just ordered up a rear light unit in carbon hows yours going ??

    I bought some from motocomposites, they advised glossy plain weave, was a good match

    The bike seems to be going well at the mo got the quick shifter fitted yesterday seems to work well got to admit the service at triumph newcastle has vastly improved

    It's high gloss plain weave - although the twill version would match the Arrow exhaust caps.

    Here's a photo of my tail light surround (together with the original Triumph carbon for reference).

    was looking at an RS yesterday at Onger Triumph in Essex, will the front mudguard fit straight on my 2012 R as forks look the same?

    Very easy - remove cowl and seat, the two side panels, then the remaining bolts holding the rear light surround itself (including two plastic popper studs underneath), and it slides straight out. Just keep an eye on the bolts that you remove, because they’re not all the same.

    I also have a carbon rear hugger, chain guard, tank side trims (from Triumph) and an exhaust heat shield. Once you start...

    I think it creates a subtle carbon theme that runs through the bike from front to back, without going over the top
