Its odd that this topic - simple though it is - is not mentioned in the Service Manual. We decided to fit some NGK Iridium plugs to our Project bike - a 2008 Classic - and thought we'd do a basic video of it. Just put a set of these on my Daytona 1000, help for a better burn so I'm told and does help to smooth out the engine.
They made a BIG difference to tickover on our Valkyrie.... not so much on the Rocket - but perhaps just a bit. We'll see - we will be feeding back again on these over time... Best thing is they need no gapping or re-gapping.
