Things definitely look on the up for this - France will be opening up shortly for fully vaccinated visitors. I should think Spain will be the same.
My bike club have had enough of the government's flip flopping over travel. On Friday we voted overwhelmingly to cancel our week in Portugal. We are now going to Scotland for the same week.
Basically impossible to arrange anything "over the water". All along l've had September in mind as a kind of liberation point but even that is looking a little hopeful....
I’m not going anywhere this year that involves a plane or ferry, even a weekend in Belfast is off the cards and that has been shuffled over from last year. We just can’t afford to risk having to self isolate for ten days (wife self employed) for the sake of a little break even though we’re both double jabbed now.
You should be fine with belfast now, its a part of the common travel area. No isolation necessary. At worst, it will be advice, not law
