    Hi All.
Well Sceptic Al is checking out for good.
Due to circumstances and the chance of a lifetime Mrs Al and me are upping sticks and leaving the UK for British Columbia. We moving to be near our daughter and her bloke who moved over there last year.
Since then we've spent a fair amount of time over there and found a nice 'little' patch on Victoria Island with a big man-shed/workshop, double garage air-con, all the trimmings and pleasant views across to the islands and mainland
I'll be 'working' for my son in law fettling big boy toys such as excavators etc, therefore plenty of scope to develop his business and give my pension a mega-boost.
Once settled I'll be back on two wheels (BM or HD) just to do justice to the empty roads and sweeping bends on the Pacific coast, Trumpets just can't hack it and spares are well over priced. My old Dominator has landed already and is waiting for me, (it's worth even bigger mega-bucks over there than it is here).
So to you poor EUSSR Slaves hang in there and pray that BREXIT actually happens.

Blimey!! Good luck but I don't think you have to leave the forum, there's enough on here without triumphs and it'll be nice to see the bc roads, for all us who might venture out that way!

Welcome to the great northwest. Victoria and Vancouver island are great places as you probably already know. I'm just below you, north of Seattle. Lots of great Triumph dealers in our area if you want to get off the hog and back on a good bike Catch the coho ferry to Port Angeles sometime and take in the Olympic peninsula on a bike. Great ride. Mainland BC is beautiful bike country too.

Al, "Trumpets just can't hack it" ?? Vancouver (not Victoria) Island and surrounding area are beautiful with all sorts of great roads. This is not some untamed and barren wilderness. I was born/raised here. Triumphs do just as well here as anywhere else. Not sure where you got that idea but it's completely incorrect. In any case, I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever you choose to ride! See you out on the road! Cheers!
