My thinking is along the same lines. To be honest, i don’t see it when I’m riding and don’t want to give plod a reason for pulling me.
Yes, I have, in Warwickshire whilst riding to Mallory Park with friends, zero tolerance in that county, £60 fine.
Or if you really want to stand out from the (law-abiding) crowd, get a black 'n' silver vintage plate.
7x5 and cost me £100. Tail tidy on a Gen 2 Tuono and from their X5 they couldn't see the top line so they said.
It almost sounds like they are afraid of the real criminals. I dunno, maybe if the cops carried guns?
Based on some videos I've seen tazers are responsible for a lot of cops getting their asses kicked over here.
About 7 x 6.5 inches The rules are characters 64mm high by 44mm wide except 1 and I 11mm border 10mm between characters 13mm between lines 2 lines So... Width: 11 + 44 + 10 + 44 + 10 + 44 + 11 = 174mm Height: 11 + 64 + 13 + 64 + 11 = 163mm
Yesterday I rode to my daughters house (she lives about 40 miles away). Most of the journey is along a single carriageway, very busy road that runs from the M62 motorway to the seaside town of Bridlington. The road is the A614. Because of its seaside connections, the road is popular with day-trippers, holiday makers etc. together with the normal commuter and commercial traffic, but usually at this time of the year its a bit quieter than during the summer months. During that 40 mile trip I passed no less than 3 mobile revenue (sorry Safety) camera vans. When I came back home later in the afternoon there was only one, but in a place where there are no pedestrians and no houses. You'll be lucky to see a rabbit at the side of the road at that spot. The A64 which runs from Leeds via York to Scarborough is even worse! Fecking cameras everywhere. I've even seen the t**ts out on Boxing day to catch those poor souls who are unfamiliar with the area and perhaps just out visiting relatives for the festive season. And yet if your garage is broken into and your bike stolen, all the police want to do is give you a crime number so you can claim on your insurance. Oh dear, I think I should have put this in the Rant of the day thread. I'll blame you DD for setting me on this course. Lol.
In my case they deliberately gradually slowed down to 30mph on a 60mph road and indicated to force me to overtake and then hit their lights as soon as I had gone past. Had all my luggage on it as I had just moved from NI to mainland UK so was hardly hooning it.
"anti-social driving" What the heck is that? Y'all need Dirty Harry in charge so they can do some real cop work.
God you want to see it here at the moment. They caught Tracy couple of weeks ago in Burnham she was doing 38 to get to a patient who was dying but that doesn't matter apparently. They are every where with their camera's. Not only that but on the A4 Taplow you find a few old fogeys OK older than I sitting at the side of the road with camera's and camcorders. Sad Sad Sad. Joe
