I have a question about the shift assist. Is there any difference in the programming between an up shift and a down shift? I am considering changing the shift to a one up and five down pattern. I can modify the sprocket cover to get clearance for the shift rod, and the arm will flip easily. If there is a difference, I will probably have to flip the shift rod also.
