Hello i am completely new to owning a triumph but just picked up a triumph st 1050 on 2011 model year last of st models I belive.
It has 7500 miles on the clock but I wondering what service to do as it hasn't been done for a couple of years as previous owner only changed the oil. Before that it was a second hand from a triumph main dealer.
And has anyone got any recommendations for a good disc lock with alarm for one of these.
Thank you for your time to read this.

    P. S the bike has a triumph off road/race can with the Triumph middle pipe with that. This shoots flames when changing gear and pops back when just driving normal. Is this standard with this can?

Given the time factor I would be minded to do the 12k service less the valve check. You then have a baseline established from here forward.

Your can sounds antisocial burning so much unburnt fuel in a hot exhaust. The problem is knowing what, if any, tuning has been done and the overall effect on engine scavenging.

If you are planning on professional help you might consider https://www.muddysump.com/main/mobile-mechanic/

    Hi there!
As @Callumity says, do the 12k as you can then have a very good baseline to reference to for the future!
As for the flames, i'd see that as an added extra!

+1 for the flames, should stop people tailgating you at least.:p
Agree re the above service advice and if you can access Tunecu you can check the fuel map is correct for the exhaust.
    Welcome along.

Morning all. Does anyone know of a capable mobile mech that can do a full 12K service on my Tiger 800 XC in the Hindhead area? No issues with the bike, currently running great but has a slight oil leak (4-5 drops) after rideouts. Any recommends much appreciated!
