Folks, I noticed the other day while skipping through the menu pages on the TFT display that the time & date was incorrectly set (or lack of ever being set from new). So I changed it in doing so the service light has come on due to service being due in year 1-1-2000! Is there anyway of reseting this on the 2020 model without a trip to dealership? Mike
Hi mike, I think you are out of luck and it's a trip to the dealer. At least it'll be free! There are other ways but you simply don’t want to screw up your warranty.
Absolutely , but for me, i'd be taking it in as you’ve paid a decent amount of money AND if something else happens to it between now and its 600/next service check, the engine light on will already be hiding it. Dealer will then not be interested and charge you for ignoring it and fixing the bike.
I'm not familiar with the specific bike model, but isn't a service indicator different from a fault or warning light? (It is on my bike, service indicator is just a little spanner on the LCD).
