Seats For Bonneville T100

    I'm not tremendously impressed with the seat on my new-to-me, 2013 T100.

    It's a nice shape and it DOES have the authentic leaky seams, just like my 1970 Tiger 100, but it doesn't seem to have a lot to it.

    I rather fancy the Burton Bike Bits grey top unit, not least because to me, a T100 OUGHT to have a grey top seat; anyone have experience of these?

    Or go the cheap diy route and slide a gel cushion under the cover and over the foam. I unpicked the staples at the front of the seat and for maybe 5" at the side before sliding in one of these:

    In medium size then stapled it up again.
    The strap on gel seats have a weird detached feel on braking and acceleration but by putting just the gel under the stock cover you gain all the comfort with barely a change in the aesthetics. Its outline is just visible.
