I've just received an email from Laguna Triumph in Kent about an offer on a new Scrambler. Seems like a good deal but I thought I'd ask if anyone has experience with the Arrow system and if it's actually a worthwhile bit of kit. Thinking of doing a test ride on a Bonnie and Scrambler but I don't know too much about the Triumph Classics so any help or advice would be much appreciated. http://www.laguna.co.uk/triumph/new-triumph/scrambler-free-arrow.htm Cheers guys
Cheers for the help Steve I had a chat with Jason from Lagunas today and was pleasantly surprised to be told that the Arrow offer is also on the Bonnies and Thruxton as well. I haven't ridden for over 3 years but used to be on an ER6, so it'll be a power boost on either bike tbh! Booked in to give them a go tomorrow so we'll see how I get on. Also, are there any accessories that are worth sorting from the start? Gel seat could probably come in handy.
After trying both out, I couldn't really feel too many differences except for the high end power on the Bonnie, as you said. Really good fun and was surprised how easy they both were to ride in the traffic. With the Bonnie being £900 cheaper, it was a bit of a no-brainer for me and i've got my deposit down, with delivery in just over a week. I'll see how I get on with the seat but as I don't do too many miles it may not be necessary and I found the stock one absolutely fine. Cheers again for your help Steve
Gentlemen,I know some of you are champing at thing bit to see me in those inflatable pants - but it ain't gonna happen -they simply aren't my colour
Could have done with those when I was up for one of my canings at school! For those of you too young to know about corporal punishment, getting called to get caned by your headmaster was not going out and cracking a few tins of kronenburg with Sir!!
when the air cleaner needs changing put a dna one in,also warranty over get a look at triumph twin powers sight
