My 01 Bonneville needed rear brake pads. The hex head pin the holds the pads in the caliper rounded off when I tried to remove. Once again, thanks to this forum and my mechanic brother's advice, I fixed it. I soaked the pin overnight with penetrating liquid. Then, I hammered in a T40 torx into the bolt head. The torx I used took a 1/2 inch square ratchet/ breaker bar. Used my breaker bar and easily removed it!!!!! No machine shop or new caliper needed. I'll be ordering stainless steel replacement pins. Thank you guys for all the help.
