Featured Ride Out To Cadwell?

Anybody up for a ride out to Cadwell Park this Saturday 01/06/19 ?
I'll be going to cheer on our very own @Bad Billy in his racing efforts so if anyone wants to join me they’d be very welcome.

 

I have 3 free tickets to get in, maybe able to rustle up more from other competitors if needed, will be good to see any Forum members that want to join @Yorkshireman on the ride to the Circuit.

 

I could be up for this. I'm not far from squires but happy to meet wherever?

BB can I put my name to it a ticket (or x2 depending on swmbo)?

 

I will have a word with some of the other racers to see what extra tickets I can rustle up, will post on this thread on Fri with how many, but was only £12 to get in at last round so not going to break the bank if not.

 

It’s about 2 hours from here and my route will be the A631 from Bawtry through Gainsborough, past Willingham Woods bike stop, etc. I’ll probably leave somewhere between 9 and 9.30 so I’ll be at Bawtry about 10.15 ish.

 

I’ll try & sort tickets for anyone that comes, will have a word with hospitality (Mrs Billy) about bacon butties for our guests!

 

I’d be happy with a 50% increase in the hobnob allocation Billy, even I can manage 3 of the little feckers

It works for me but it’s a bit out of the way for others. Anyone else got any thoughts on this?

Right lads, not going to be on Forum much until I get to Cadwell tomorrow evening, got testing Friday so will see what tickets I can blag, Andy ( @Yorkshireman ) has my mobile number for when you arrive, better if you can get there together as less pissing about with trips to the gate with tickets, once the numbers are sorted leave a message on here & I will try to get you all in for nowt.

Why don’t you and BB3lions meet at Squires, then go down the A1, meet me at Bawtry then we can pickup smilinjack at Willingham Woods?

 

There’s a little lay-by on the A631 Gainsborough Road, the Gainsborough side of the traffic light junction with the A638 in Bawtry. I’ll be there at 10.00am. I’ll give it til 20past then if no one arrives I will bumble along the A631 through Gainsborough following the route I posted earlier. Should be at Willingham Woods just through Market Rasen by 10.45 to 11.00.

Yes that’s it. I’m flexible on time, you guys are travelling much further than me. Billy’s first race is early on the schedule so we won’t see that but there are other categories of racing to watch (and biscuits to eat) before he races just before lunch.

 

I'm hoping the club cafe will be open, it was at Donington. Perhaps a call to confirm?

Right so BB3 I'll meet you at Squires cafe, Sherburn in Elmet. I'll be there for 08.30 and ready for when you arrive. Bawtry is probably 45 minutes from there so if we're away before 09.15 then we should connect ok with Yorkshireman.

BB3 I didn't know there were two Squires cafes, I've got a feeling it's a Google glitch. Your link points to a field on my phone. If it does exist can you send me a link or address and yes shall we say 09.15 there?

@Smilinjack and all, don't forget Oliver's mount racing is back on this year with two dates.

 

Thanks mate, the only thing I forgot was some hard board as we are in the grass part of paddock, I think given that you’re coming on your bike it might prove a little difficult to bring them mate! Tickets aren’t an issue I have 6 now, the main gate it quite a way from Paddock so only making 1 trip! See you guys on Saturday

 

Just walked the track, The telly doesn’t do this track justice! Going for aloe down!
