remap

    hi ya can anyone recommend somewhere localish to take my 509 speed triple to have a remap done someone who knows what there doing im based near northampton so cov or brum area would be fine thanks in advance:smile:

    Have you thought of doing it yourself ? Tune ECU is a free program you just need a lead and a laptop......

    Yes that is true but now days you need an old laptop as the new ones struggle with the old operating system so I understand.

    im not to sure about doing it myself im not very good with computers really and i dont want to mess it up im going to ring my local triumph dealer later see what they say

    TuneECU is available for Android phones and is a dodle to use, I did mine the other day as it has the High level race exhaust but I was getting flat spots at 5000 and 10000 revs. As I suspected the standard ap was loaded so I just loaded the crrect map and bingo, smooth all the way now, like a different bike.

    Take it to your local Triumph dealer .... shouldnt cost anymore than £20 ... I'm sure Pure Triumph are over Northampton way :upyeah:
