    in Australia we have a few different types of rego Queensland u can do single seat rego cheaper but u can't carry a pillion ,in South Australia you can do seasonal rego so no rego over winter re regerstation no extra cost on fees and so on . some states the bike gets checked over every year with reg ,where I am no yearly checks . my thing is we pay rego to cover the cost of rode repairs ,building roads and so on, so why does a bike over 650cc cost nearly the same cost as a car ,light trucks being dearer heavy haulage again dearer so I don't see a bike doing much damage don't know how it works in in Europe

    In the UK we have different rates depending on the vehicle type, engine size and emission rates.

    In NZ the biggest part of the rego is accident cover levy, with bigger bike being punished for return riders breaking themselves.:scream::poop:
    Cars are on safety rating.
    My 250kg 1200cc bike is $650pa:mad:, the wife’s 2300kg 3500cc 5star is $80pa.:p
