I sport a pair of high volume very wide feet with chunky ankles and calfs. Looking for recommendations on waterproof boots.

Depending on budget/other requirements, most of the Daytona's are adjustable at the calf for fitment and I'm pretty sure they offer wide fit options too.

Def going to ride up to Richmond for a pair of dual purpose custom made by Alt-Berg I have now seen recommended in an earlier thread. I have really really awkward bloody feet. Very high volume, wide and extremely supinated. I'm going to be doing trips that involve trail and fell walking at the other end. Finding a comfortable walking boot has always been a problem. Even Meindl's give me foot ache after a day in them. So the dual purpose custom fit microlight Hogg by Alt-Berg looks just the job.

It's a long way for a ride up here although they've a very good bespoke reputation from what I've heard. Eric

190 miles door to door. Or just get the train, 4 and bit hrs station to station, and cheapest ticket would be twice the petrol cost. So the long ride on a nice day gets my vote. If there isn't one this side of Winter I can always wait till Spring is sprung. I have boots to get by with for now.
    Ah, the Glastonbury-look.

I've had a pair of Altberg boots since 1998 (I think! - could be'99) and they are still going strong and are supremely comfortable. Not cheap, but excellent quality. I would recommend them to anyone. :)

And yes, I have got legs like tree trunks, and yes, I do need a wide fitting! :p
