After buying my 1050 on 1st March I thought I'd better check the suspension settings so they were are stock. Front no problem all adjusted as expected but the rear shock preload adjuster turns using the knob but I expected it 'click' about every 1/4 or 1/2 turn. Instead it will click but seemingly at random points. Is this normal or is the knob/shaft slipping on the shock end? It is a bit difficult to write but I hope you understand what I mean!

If its clicking, I would be inclined to trust it until proved other wise.
The shock may have a few different adjustment methods on the bare shock, then different models, may have different adjusters, from screws to knobs.

So the click may be every 1/2 turn on a screw system. On a higher end version of the same basic model, the adjustment may be delivered by a larger circumference knob, which may even be on the end of a wire ( remote) which would then give a "unusual" reading, that is still completely accurate.
