Reviving an old thread I know, but better than starting a new one.

I am looking at going down 1 tooth in front and up 1 tooth on the rear. This also gives the best ratio of the same chain link contacting the same sprocket tooth on rear and front - thus reduced wear.

The speed difference is from 157mph to 145 mph so nothing I am going to miss out on.

I'm planning to get supersprox, JT rubberised front sprocket with DID ZVMX Gold chain. But going with std gearing. Hopefully in the next couple of months

I already have the JT sprockets and gold ZVMX chain, I had one on my last Speed Triple and I only adjusted it twice over 12,000 miles (using a Scottoiler)

I may keep the rear sprocket standard though, I will see how just changing the front will effect the acceleration first
