Anybody know what length of chain and lock will comfortably fit under my rear cowl? (Daytona 600 53 plate)

Random Answer.... Depends on the size of the links & padlock. Obviously the chain will need to be quite substantial otherwise its a waste of time having it.

Not the answer I was looking for but makes more sense than my dumb question! Thanks, think I will just have to go to a shop and ask if I can test out a couple...

I prefer coiled plastic covered wire rope that has loops both ends, coils into a smallish place. No idea if it will fit under the seat cowl though.

Think it depends on how much space you have under there...other option is to try and get a cargo net over the seat.

Not sure this an option,SB - after all with a seat cowl on the only seat is where BM will be sitting. Just sayin'...

I can put a Oxford hardcore chain and lock under mine but nothing else. There is a nack to get it in but it just fits in .
