I agree the hoses spoil the look of the engine when the rubber starts to age or stain and go brown. I looked at replacing them with silicone hoses but it seems that manufacturers of those available for the Speed Triple insist on plastering them with their company logo (which looks much worse IMO), I've even emailed them to see if they can supply without - but no joy. I've used Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber Care for the car door seals to stop squeaks, rattles and freezing in winter, I've found it keeps the hoses on the bike looking good too.
