Really annoying the way the bike left in race/rider mode when turning off ignition then becomes road mode when you switch back on. I constantly forget this after stopping for fuel etc, then have to pull over to select desired mode as you can't select race/rider while on the move. Is there a fix for this 'Nanny Triumph' irritating problem (apart from brain surgery for the forgetful rider!).

I would imagine that it defaults to 'Road' mode as a safety feature of the bike.
You may be able to re-programme, but the solution may have to be just remembering to change it at each start up like you would a tripometer.

KTM did this with the superduke R and by all accounts it annoyed the hell out of its owners. Anyway their 2017 model remembers the settings when you switch it off. Ahhh 1st world anxieties and normality returns lol.

Maybe triumph will see the light where hopefully it's something the dealer can set with an update of some sorts.
