Quite Old - Newbie

    Hi guy. Pleased to find this forum. My first Triumph was a 1954 Sprung hub Thunderbird and my current is a very pretty and copiously chromed Bonneville America 50 years younger. I’m rebuilding a French Army Cub (that has been a long time in bits) and want some advise on which way up the ‘damper sleeves’ fit on the ‘heavy duty’ forks. Can anyone help as the Haynes manual is no help

    No pics yet as mist is still in boxes - but the forks.....are my Nemesis at present. Which way up do the damper tubes go???
