I saw that you can install a quickshift gear changer on a street triple that will allow you to change gear without using the clutch. shut up and take my money. that is all.
What does the quickshifter actually do for you? I hardly ever use the clutch once the bike is rolling anyway. Is it mainly used for down-shifts?
The main advantage of a quickshifter is that you can change gear without lifting off of the gas. From what I understand on the upshift the quick shift cuts the spark plug out or fuel and once engaged your back to full throttle. the theory is that you can accelerate quicker. It doesn't work on the down shift I have only ridden a couple of S1000rr's that had it and in all honesty it is really more for the track than the road. I didn't really like it as it just felt weird to me
