America Question Re Seat Fitting

Greetings all,
Will a single riders seat from a 2002 America fit a 2016 America? I want to fit a single seat with a riders backrest so any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you already got the seat ?
If so take your double seat off and offer it up to the bike...when I changed mine all I had to do was remove the release mechanism and the single seat went straight into place
There should be a captivated nut in the rear mudguard to take a suitable bolt which fits on the back of the seat to hold it in place

Hi,
Thanks for the heads up I don't have the seat but may be able to borrow one. I can't see Triumph changing the frame mounting every year.
