Some months ago i had the no start problem 2014 model..because i had one key i decided to go to the dealer with another chipped key...i had them both paired....all ok until this weekend, never been started for three weeks, turned the key on dash made it usual noises (i always use the key and not the engine red on off switch) Nothing pushing starter button, clutch pulled in..few seconds later it turned over and started...after fifty mile drive stopped at the post office for mail....same thing, this time i working the clutch lever in and out and it turned over...got home and tried twenty times starting no problem.... i was thinking immobilizer unit...the only way to tell is replace that and ignition switch right...but could be $$
Going back to January when i got the R i was not getting power to the clutch switch it was intermitant same thing that other owners have.. thats when i decided to get the keys re paired...problem solved until yesterday... pulling out the switch from the lever is no problem the rubber boot will not pull back without tearing...so i gave it the WD40 treatment, with the switch out, testing with key on it never failed..so i will leave it at that for now...the switch is not available got to buy the whole lever assy
