I also think that a quick test to see if they have a brain is a good idea. I have always said that the desire to be a politician should preclude them from being one. It should be" Oi, you! You're our new MP. Get on with it." (and fail us at your peril)
There already are penalties for damaging memorials. Perhaps we should petition for something else, any ideas?
