Hi All... I'm new to this site, this being my first ever post! I have started to make some modifications to my Thunderbird 900 (yr2000). So far I have changed the handle bars to a lower profile pair and next I'm looking to get a much shorter set of fenders. I have purchased a front fender and discovered I need to get a bracket for it... This seems pretty straightforward (Famous last words). The rear fender however, seems a little trickier... Question 1.... Is the Bonneville fender compatible...? Question 2... Has anyone done the same, if so any decent suggestions? Any dos/donts...? Question 3... Does anyone know where I can get a bracket for the front fender? Appreciate any help anyone is able to offer...! Cheers
Hi and welcome to the forum. Not sure about the Bonnie fender - I changed mine from stock Bonnie to Scrambler and had to buy a bracket, but sure someone will be able to answer your question. Had to get my bracket from World of Triumph in the end.
Hi Ed, good luck with the Thunderbird. How about a photo of her .shorter fenders would look nice with that big tyre .
