Problem with final drive

    I have a thunderbird se 2011 it's done 12000 miles the final drive belt pulley has destroyed the output shaft in the gearbox . Has any body experienced this problem before ? Any advice would be helpful

    Possibly an over tightened belt not allowing for enough play for the suspension?

    Happens on Harley's and Buells I think.
