    hi there
    ive just bought the ltd edition speedtripple with green satin paint. does anyone know what to clean it with cant use polish. thanks yvonne:

    its a bit like silk emusion not gloss and not matt inbetween.

    check with a dealer to make sure before you use anything.

    Window cleaner is what I have been told to use.. Or just wash it.. You can't polish it... Post some pic's:upyeah:

    Think this is quite an old post from when the forum was first set up but still a valid question as more and more satin or Matt finishes are now out there. Perhaps one or two of our dealer members are able to advise?

    Hot soapy water im afraid is the best for cleaning silk/matt finish paintwork & like screwball said you can wipe down with glass cleaner & a micro-fibre to get rid of any impurities on the paintwork. The glass cleaner will flash-off due to its alcohol content & should dry smear free.

    DO NOT USE FAIRY LIQUID, use a proper car wash shampoo
