Nope never tried wearing any of those I did have a fabric "under helmet" for the cold winters in the UK but that was over 30 years ago.

Sounds like the beginnings of a chopper, or flat-tracker, or a table ? Built a neat corner table from the remains of a beautiful ole '54 Tiger 100 once ( the all alloy, close- finned engine model ).... :sob::sob::sob:

Sadly the parts required just to get the engine running will be 400+ euro and that's buying used parts god only knows what Ducati would charge assuming they still make and supply they could not supply new in tank fuel lines!!!!.

We also have to wait for insurance inspection which could be weeks before they come to look at it. Have a few months to think about a replacement that is if I do replace it after I bought the 97 T300 Trophy last just so it's not like I do not have another bike already.

Dropping back to the earplugs. I used to wear them all the time till i purchased the Arai Quantic. I found the hat was very quite and did not require them. I do also now wear a nylon head covering and if going distance just place the earplugs loosely in my ears. But it scares me Tinnitus when i listen to people affected by it.
