Do any other tiger pillions have issues getting on and off the bike ?
My wife has stopped coming out with me, as she says she can't get on and off the bike without looking like a div, due to the massive rear grab handles getting in the way, i've been looking around for some sort of alternative for the handles, but haven't been able to find anything...
    Is it just us ???

I tend to ride on my own a lot, so it's nice when her indoors is with me, but this is becoming increasingly rarer now

My missus doesn't have a problem, with or without topbox on. I get on first and get the bike upright then she puts her left foot on the left foot peg then gets on as if its a step through

That's exactly what i do, i have no top box (yet) but she insists the handles get in the way.
Do i change the bike, or the wife....? :D:D

are her trousers too tight thus stopping her leg from bending properly. That's one I'd never ask my wife but I'm sure youi can put it diplomatically,

It's definitely nothing to do with her trousers.

My misses watched a lady get on first - slide up to position then her fella got on. Maybe an idea if you can ' get your leg over'. o_O:rolleyes:

No mate, can't say we've tried that one...
She's chucked her teddy out a bit now and won't go out on the bike at all.

For some reason - my wife has also stopped. Used to really enjoy an adventure but now ride solo.

I sorted that one many years ago now Tracy follows me in the car. Then she can carry any gear I have with me. But I think its just getting used to a technique that suits.
    Regards
    Joe
