petrol tap

hi guys any tips on cleaning the petrol tap went for first ride broke down 4 times it just stops then it starts after about 2/3 mins is there any one know if there is any pics on here on the petrol tap 95 1200 trophy thanks gary

 

Hi could be a breather prob leave petrol tank top open and go for a ride if ok its the breather Some triumphs suffer from blocked breathers Ali valve gets fured up

 

it runs ok for about 10/15 miles then stops leave it for 2/5 mins then starts normal again it seams when hot it stops would that be the same breather pipe thanks gary

 

hi could be 10/15 miles just about enough to cause a vacuum in the tank worth a go with the petrol top off could be cheap fix

hello crank sensor done still the same filled up thinking all ok on way home stopped 3 times with a back fire had run with filler cap open still the same . on the tap wot is the on poss arrow facing witch way ? thanks

 

Can not help with fuel tap position never had a trophy some of the early triumphs had a bad design fuel tap that could starve the carbs of fuel their was a mod but that's as much as I know. also try side stand switch and kill switch bat leads you never no
