The whole system's new so can't see that would be a problem in itself - just pointin' out...

You have to soak the wrap, so it stretches, then contracts when it drys. That way its nice and tight.
If your really good at it you dont need wire or clips. I have always had to use some wire at the end, never worked out how to finish tightly without wire.
There are web sites that show what to do, I just finish with wire.......

I do like the `tidy` look that the exaust and tidy tail give.

Is there some law about the number plate being so far back??? Otherwise why put it there??

If anyone is thinking about an arrow, I highly recomend it, changes the bike for the better.

Looks good Kradser I would have put a tail tidy on my D600 but its all one moulded piece that holds the plate, indicators and rear lights on so would require some extensive surgery with a dremel. I do like the 'tidy' look so one day I might have to hack it up one day.

All I can say is in the wet you get a load of spray thrown up he back.. It's probably why the original is so far back...
But I do agree it looks loads better without the big cans...

    Just tidied up the tail!

For me this is the worst part of the 2005-6 model - crappy plastic back end.
Bought this excellent tail tidy from germany - simple to fit and looks fantastic in my opinion.
Invested in some very expensive Triumph led indicators to compliment it.
When it arrives from Italy a new 3 into low exhaust will complete the transformation although I am not unhappy with the Pipewerx cans - think they look pretty cool and sound wonderful!!

    Before and after shots :)

That's a really nice looking unit, Midge. A mate of mine made one for his bike and one for mine:

You are the first one I have seen do this usually it is the other way round as all the older speed triple guys hate the new lights. From what I have heard the new lights actually let you see where your going at night as the old round ones were never meant to be that great.

I used to hate the new shape lights but they've grown on me... Only thing at the moment is, as it has the old style fly screen, I can't angle the lights up any more than they are and are currently too low... I'll work out something to make them point in the right direction
