Have just read that Paul Smart has been killed in a collision between his Ducati and a car in Kent. Sad to see the end of such a great rider, and, by all accounts, a nice guy too.
Sounds morbid but I hope it was quick, clean… and spectacular. Sure beats foundering away in some home slowly waiting to eventually flatline. He was out there gettin' after it doing what he loved. At 78 he had a good run.
