Hello all. Just wondering whilst the bikes in various bits where everyone goes to get replacement screws, bolts etc. Need to replace a lot of the bolts which are just knackered. Is it a main dealer job or anyone know of some other dealers etc...? Anyone know whether parts off others fit mine, example brake disc bolts.. Seems loads advertised for illosds. Of the other models but not the trophy 1200. Any advice welcome
Bedtime reading. http://homepages.cae.wisc.edu/~me231/online_notes/dimensoning/fastener_handout.pdf Just don’t be tempted to think stainless steel is ‘better’. It is generally weaker and material specifications matter as much as size. You also need to distinguish bolts from machine screws.
