Ive just bought a 2001 trophy, has a few scratches, ive looked in the list for the paint code and the only colour i can see that comes near it is platinum, to my eyes it looks silver, where can i find the paint code on the bike please, and where can i get the paint from? many thanks john
Hi The paint code isn't listed on the bike itself, you could get the info from your local triumph dealer ( they can find it on their systems ) and the paint should be something your local motor factors could mix up for you from the paint code. The standard colours available for 2001 were Platinum, Sunset Red & Pacific Blue
PLATINUM IVC L2367 T3120300-GE Silver was never a factory option so it is platinum. If you go to any paint supplier ask them for Triumph Platinum GE, the rest of the code is not needed.
