Mr. Sandi is up fishing in the mountains in northern Arizona this weekend and Annie and I slept in a bit too long. Consequently we got out for our morning walk when it was already pretty hot. But I remembered the cooling vest we bought for her last summer was tucked away. So I dug it out, soaked it in cold water and squeezed it out, and here she is--all blingy and beautiful--and cool! Well, cooler.......
What a beauty! It's hard to imagine just what "behavioral issues" that he can have at only 8 months old, but I very much doubt its anything that could not be resolved quickly. You might find that Lilly may get a new lease of life with a youngster joining the household. Hopefully it will work out ok for the little chap, if you decide to take him or not
Try meeting the dog, and taking him for a walk with Lilly and see how a slow introduction goes on neutral territory, then make a decision based on how that goes? He may turn out to be a superstar in the right envionment, and he and Lilly may get on and be best buddies.
Best of luck mate, I hope it goes well for all of you Every situation is different, but when I got my previous Stafford I had reservations on how it would go with my old Labrador who didn't care for attention from other dogs...but my worries proved to be unnecessary
I hope members don't mind, but I thought I'd like to give my sister and brother-in-law's business a plug. They breed working Spaniels, Labradors and German Shepherds, and they also provide training services with residential facilities based in Lincolnshire: https://www.sjworkingdogs.co.uk/ Thanks
