I like my English Bulldog better, but these French ones are lovely too!

    Don't laugh.

I had a female Yorkie that traveled every where with me and passed away 3 years ago at the grand age of 22 years old. The girls and women went nuts when I carried her around in her travel bag. It was the closest I've ever come to having a child. And I'm 1.94 meters tall and 95 kg.
I still shed a tear when i think about her.

Hamba kahle. from Xhosa, literally: go well dear friend.

Thanks DD, we love her to bits, and reckon she's pretty cute!
I don't know about the male Frenchies, but the wife used to own a female one, which was a breeze to house-train? Took about a week? Could be the males are somwhat more stubborn (or just plain thick)... :D

I'd never laugh at that. My wife says I'm completely besotted with our dog.. I actually find she's a bit of a babe magnet as well, especially as a pup... (don't tell the wife!

This I said for her when she was cremated.

When you look to the stars, look for the brightest star in the sky and in it you will find I will live forever more.

I am crying like a baby. Obi Wan has left the building to compose himself.

When I was young, my mum had a cross yorkie / unknown (Might have been long haired jack russell but i recon' badger). It was a lovely wee thing for everybody, except me. It feckin hated me. I would just walk by it, sat on her knee and it would bare its teath and grrrrr at me !!!!:laughing::laughing:

Used to play fight (I was playing, it wasn't:p), when had it pinned down, on its back, I had to get my hand away at least 3 foot away as I released it, because that's how high it could jump, from being on its back !!!! Heard the snap of it's teeth as it missed your fingers by a couple of inches :poop:

Thinking back, this is probably why it hated me :D

Yes well, that was the plan - but she then decided to stay quite small... Don't tell her though - 'cause she reckons she's MASSIVE!

I’m sorry but that is highly inappropriate, barbecuing so close to those trees is just asking for trouble.

I know how you felt mate, I cried buckets of tears when I took my little pal of 18 years on his last journey.

Here is Myrtle. She is an L3 Ghost Mantis. Like a preying mantis, but smaller and easier to care for. She's my youngest's pet, wanted a snake but missus said no, so it's a bug at the moment.
We've also had to learn how to breed fruit flies, can buy them, but having to get them every week is a pain, so easier just to set up a culture. Just put a few in every other day, so easy enough care.
Unbelievably she actually has character. She gets excited when you feed her, likes to escape and wants to crawl around your hand rather than hide away in her case. Trying to get flies in and keep her in can be a challenge.

Great fun watching her hunt and grab a fly!!!:p

Love it, a bit different to a Tarantula!
Just a few years ago I got a few stick insects, I ended up with 'kin thousands of the wee buggers!!
I used to get crickets for my dragon from P@H but our branch seems to have stopped doing that sort of thing now, I kept some of them for pets too!

Took Nelly my Border Terrier to the vets today, as she has been limping the past two days, vet said that the cruciate ligaments are damaged and she needs an op, Pleased that I took out insurance as it could cost between £1000 and £3000 depending on the damage caused. They said that she should be ok with the op.( I still would have paid for the op if I wasn`t insured.)
