So sorry to hear your sad news Tez.

I know it’s devastating when it happens but memories are one thing that can’t be taken away from you all.

Oh bloody hell Tez, thats one hell of a shock!
So sorry for you all, but at least it seams she didn't suffer, we had an Alsatian many years ago that had fits, she eventually went quickly too.
    RIP little Jess.

She is beautiful! She could be a Souther Cur. They are tan with black features just like that.

These are my fools. The tripod Doberman is Lil’ Wing, aka Persephone and the tiny pup is Ramona.

I can only echo Chair's comments and say Thanks to all.
We only had Jess, again I must agree with Chair and say what a feeling we have now - the house is empty - the gardens empty and were empty, I'm actually trying to find reasons not to come home as that is the place I feel her absence more !!
Its ganna take time before it gets better and were more able to deal with it we know that.
    THANKS TO ALL AGAIN

I know that feeling Tez, many years ago we had just one and his loss was greatly felt, we vowed never to have just 1 every again, when we loose one its just as bad but we do have other's to put our attention to, and we've tried to stagger the ages so there is always a few years in theory so we dont loose any too near to the last 1, although we lost Blue a few weeks ago and we have another old boy at 13 we thought we may have lost this week end although he recovered and is fighting fit again and up for walks!:grinning:
Think about getting another one, notice I didn't say replacement as you cant replace a dog, but you can give another a home, and its no disrespect to the lost one, we found it helps.
You just dont realize how much of the family they become.

At this time cant think of doing anything like that Jez, although it is a good thing to do as young dogs learn bad habits in shelters IMHO,
But how could you ever give them up after looking after them !!!

Great idea, thought logged, Not for me though marra.
    THANKS

Just had one of our cats put down, Hamish. He was ours but adopted the old couple next door a few years ago and living with them. Probably because the missus got a lab pup, he was not impressed.
Anyway, got cancer in his gum, couldn't eat, so vet put him out of his misery. The good bit, the old bugger lived to the ripe old age of 22!!! He was a kitten when we got married back in 96.
