Old Newbie

Hi, I'm Roger and at the grand old age of 67 have just bought a Triumph Trophy 2014.

The ambition is to ride to Cyprus in 3 years time.

Unfortunately it only came with the Sat Nav bracket for a Garmin Zumo 350LM.

Any links would be fully appreciated.

Also anyone with any experience of travelling in any countries on route, such as must see roads advice on paperwork requirements etc would be greatly accepted.

You should edit your profile and change your location to something less specific than a postcode, just so your teriffic Trophy is safe

 

Roger I just thought of something. Have you looked at YouTube. Lots of videos by world travelers there. Solo riders traveling to
every corner of the world.

 

Welcome to the forum Roger. I would follow @MadMrB 's advice and remove your postcode, just use your town or county. It's an open forum and you don't want people knowing where your Trophy is.

Good on yer Roger for getting a 'new to you' bike at 67. I'm a mere kid of 61, but I really hope I can still be riding in 10, 15! Who knows, even 20 years time. That's if they don't ban motorcycles off the road before then! Welcome to the forum by the way.

I have been looking, lots of advice on Europe but not so much on the likes of Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey.

I have looked at some of the best ride sites, they give some good information but nothing better than first hand
