Posting something as a windup or contentious in a first few posts before you get to know people, well that’s going to be taken the wrong way as this topic showed Sadly we do have our resident forum idiot that’s been banned a few times and keeps rejoining. My advice is to join in the banter more before posting like this to get to know people and to get known. Well that opened my eyes up to the herd effect! I don’t think the guy abused anyone personally and put in a bit of banter and was set upon straight away, maybe I give people a chance in my naivity., maybe I’m wrong but when I look at 75% of posts on here they’re pretty well all piss takes so I can understand someone coming in for a bit of banter. We’re not an exclusive club
i don’t see his post as just banter Crispy it was contentious and in my view written to cause an argument. The way atgatt or not atgatt posts go in most forums, that I’ve been in result in arguments not jokes. So I posted I thought his post was a windup and I was wondering if it was britmick back again. As it’s the type of post he would post. As to abusive his last post was, and the two I deleted were as well so I deleted them rather make matters worse. I'll leave him in ignore list, so problem solved
Well I hope Pommie Tom hasn’t flounced because this site needs de-sensitising. .......I for one never took him totally seriously or literally. We maybe all need to lighten up a little.....I even enjoyed taking a little US michael.....before he was binned/banned.

I didn’t see much to get offended at at first, then it went a bit sideways. Kinda thought it was funny, as I have family in Oz and make regular visits. Love the locals and the country and would move there if I could. We may need to remind ourselves that it takes all kinds, it would be boring if we were all the same, especially if we all had sh!te top boxes!
Snipped a bit of your post mate I agree with most of what you’ve said. I still think he was trolling due to the title mate. If he was genuine taking a bit more time to get to know us and us to know him would have meant He got a more positive response. I agree if one of us posted a similar post ( take my Crutlow posts for example ) we would get away with it but that’s because we know each other well enough to post something like that. Any one that comes onto a forum and within 20 posts puts a thread with oh dear as the title, then goes into an anti atgatt or aids such as sat nav, blueetooth along the lines of real bikers don’t need that stuff is asking for trouble.
