I think MrOrange hit the nail on the head. I know I spent all my waking hours for about three months last autumn trying to decide which bike to buy as my first bike, and went on a circular mental journey through 800GSA, 1200GS, Tiger, 700GS, R9T, Street Twin, T120, T100, and finally bought a Street Cup at the last minute because it wasn't black!

I'm pretty sure of two things:

1 that whichever one I had bought I would have loved (as I do the Street Cup)
2 that it wouldn't stop me lusting after all of the others and more

So just take the plunge - you've got to start somewhere.

Hi and welcome in. Good on you for taking your test and enjoy what ever you eventually ride. Owning as bike is a personal thing and only you can make the decision on what you ride; enjoy:)

Awrite mate, my personal view on it would be, if it smells like petrol, makes some noise and puts a stupid grin on your face it's the right bike.
Ever notice how the haters are never grinning themselves?
