Yes I got roasted on here by some, because I went for a ride on the weekend before the start of the last lockdown in March
Got a few (3-4?) days of decent weather on the way and there's no limit on distance you can travel for exercise so, if I lob some trainers and drink in a rucksack, i'm off to sunny hunny!
I’ll be doing just that! Weather is looking good tomorrow so will pack my trainers into the panniers and go for my daily exercise somewhere remote
Not this again So you can ride a push bike for exercise but you can't fall off one and end up in hospital??? I'll be riding my motorcycle end of
I agree, Rocker. I was riding my bicycle ("push bike") for exercise about a month before COVID hit last January and ended up in the hospital and in surgery. But thank goodness it was BEFORE our stay-at-home order went into effect in Arizona although my ortho surgeon assured me my surgery would have fit into the "emergency" category. What a mess. Broke my pelvis and my elbow. I've yet to ride my bicycle outdoors and have it affixed to an indoor turbo trainer. I feel much more confident riding my motorcycles. At this point we're not on any sort of lockdown here in Arizona and are allowed to stay someplace overnight. So Mr. Sandi and I have made plans to hit the road on our motorcycles in a couple of weeks for a little overnighter trip to a town called Bisbee. We just did that a couple of weeks ago to mourn the loss of our beloved boxer, Annie, shown with me in this photo. But COVID numbers are going down the tubes in our state since then. Ahhh, who knows what just around the corner--literally and figuratively? Make hay--and ride--while the sun shines. And while we're "allowed".
