Hi guys newbie here just looking to get back on a Triumph after a couple of BMW`s.
I had a Tiger 1050 for about five years then in a moment of madness decided to sell and buy a R9T.
Unfortunately this turned out to be too small and uncomfortable for me!!
I then decided a GSA1200 would be more appropriate, but it turned out to be too big heavy and not for me.
Now I have decided a Speed Triple is for me.....but I wonder how it compares size wise to the r9t ?
Has anyone had both or how do they compare.

Welcome aboard Too hot, Frecklechops too, sorry, can't give you a comparison but suggest you maybe take a Speed triple for a test ride, I've had mine, a 15 plate for about 18 months now and love it, I don't think you'd be disappointed.

Hi and welcome from another Scot. Again can't compare the two bikes you mention but I took a Speed Triple out a month or two ago when my Speed Twin was in getting her 500 mile service and loved it, plenty power and handles really well, I am sure you will enjoy it. Cheers
