    Hi all,

I've just changed my old Sprint ST1050 for a 2011 Speed Triple in Diablo Red. Came across this forum and have already had a look around to see what I should and shouldn't be adding etc.

welcome in Lee, best of luck with the new Bike. and as for what you should and shouldn't be adding.....If you mean to this forum ( which i know you dont but bear with me )

You should Add, Pics of your Bike, any type craziness you have, Plenty of Humour , A colour you prefer ( as there is a big debate on which colour is best ) Oh and if you have any questions you will be given good info back from a great bunch of lads but do expect some humour of some kind .
As for what you shouldn't be adding, Viagra ( Its "Hard" enough to keep a straight face on here) Very large T Shirts,
As we have small People on here as well. Oh and anything that will offend which is not much at all.

hope you have a lot of fun on here, I Do :D:D

Thanks for the replies guys. First couple of parts I've earmarked are radiator and oil cooler guard (Evotech v R&G?), Oxford heated grips already on order (I'm a softy!) and I might put my old mfw vario peg lowering kit on to try as my legs cramp up quickly and at 6ft found them great on the old bike.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Pictures will, and have been asked for and even though you've told us the bike is red, people will ask if it is blue.
    Don't worry - enjoy.

There may also be random references to wood, helmets, dresses and BMW's.

    Hello,

can't fault the bike choice. My triple is being prettied up as my tiger is my primary bike at the moment. Envy your location. Great routes all on your doorstep.

North Yorkshire?? Aye, but which bit? The coastal strip? The North Yorks Moors? The Yorkshire Dales? The Vale of York perhaps? All seemingly idyllic (mostly).
But then we come to the wild borderlands around Selby. Like Goole:eek::eek::eek:, it does have its good points though, the main one being that it's easy to get out of ... phew!!
Just to explain the borderlands, my first HGV driving job was based in Beal, near Kellingley Colliery, where the 'phone number started with the area code 01977, a West Yorkshire area code - mainly Knottingley, Pontefract and Castleford, plus a few other lesser lights. The post code started DN, a Doncaster (South Yorkshire) code, which, incidentally, also covers Goole. The postal address was East Yorkshire. And finally, business rates/council tax were paid to Selby District in North Yorkshire.
So you see, North Yorkshire really is a large area, allegedly it would be the largest county in England if wasn't part of Yorkshire itself.:D
See?? You learn summat new every day!:p
Oi! Wake up at the back!!
