Hi all, from soggy Deal in Kent. Started riding at 00:01 on my 16th birthday in the days of (almost) 50mph mopeds. Had many Japanese bikes over the year's & a couple of Italian too before finally getting the first Triumph (Tiger 800 xrx) 3 years ago & then to keep it company, a new Speed Twin last year! A bit excessive to have both but just couldn't face getting rid of the Tiger as it's just fantastic & so different to the Speed. Mrs Fagnet has a Street Twin too, so we have a nice little collection of trumpets! Have recently bought an X-pipe & fuel booster plug from Tec bike parts & hoping to fit shortly. Any advice on fitting & what sort of improvements to expect would be welcome. Cheers, Nick.
Fair warning on the booster plug. I installed one in my Speed Twin, but took it off after about one week. Made my bike run worse. Fuel economy went into the shitter, bike was jerky at steady RPM’s, nothing good came from that damn thing. So anyways good luck, lol!
