    Hi y’all,

Ron from Seattle here. I’m 51 years old and I am in the process of upgrading to a 2014-2018 street triple. It will be my first triumph since I stopped riding about 15 years ago. I still have my 2001 Sprint RS (it’s in Arizona with my cousin) and a 2002 Suzuki SV 650, but after test riding several middle weight bikes (FZ-09, 790 Duke, etc) the street triple was clearly the best and a huge upgrade from my SV. Refined, fast, flickable and super fun!! All the reasons I started riding in the first place. I look forward to picking one up soon (looking at the Street Triple R) and learning more about this amazing machine from all of you. Cheers and thanks for having me here.

I was considering a triple as well when I was shopping around, ended up with the speed twin. But haven’t heard a bad a thing about the triples, I think you’ll love it

Welcome aboard Ron. Enjoy the ride. Given the choice I'd go for the current 765 R. Best all-round bike of the family imo.
