Completely new to this or any other forum. Know Hee-haw of the etiquete for posting stuff.
So, Hello to everybody. I've posted a pic of my trumpet on the pics page.
Does anybody know of any-one that does a direct replacement mini speedo and tacho that isn't a digital race type one?
I want rid of those 2 massive clocks to tidy up the front end now that i've got clip-ons on. Preferably old school analogue dials.
I've seen Smiths ones but they're like 250 quid a pop!

    Cheers Noo

If anybody's interested I found a solution to the clocks problem on the Thruxton.
I removed both clocks and made a single bracket for the speedo out of aluminium and mounted it on the riser bosses on the top yolk.
It looks pretty good and will do the job until I can get my hands on a workable alternative.
I've just filled the tacho connector with silicon grease and poked it inside the headlamp shell. Sorted!!

Heres a couple of pics of the single clock on the Thruxton. Not perfect but will do until a mini one is sourced.
