Just found the forum and signed up, thought I'd introduce myself. The name's Bruce, based out of the PNW. Been riding since high school, most recent bike was a 2012 Street Triple R. T'was a sad day when I had to sell her. Next bike will likely be something more "standard" although I've never even sat on a bike that I like better than the Street, that includes the Speed Triple. Small world. I have relatives in Seattle and go there often. I also spend time in Shelton (for quiet time and R&R) when I can. You mentioned you might try a standard bike. Here is my ride. A 2018 Street Twin 900 and my 1st Triumph. Very happy with it.
I've been thinking something like that. Maybe a Thruxton R. I've also been leaning towards the new Scrambler. I work for an off-road company so something dirt-capable is always in the back of my head.
Wowee, I've never had such a nice reception on a forum before. Will definitely be looking to your experiences to help me choose the next Triumph. Although, if I could, I know I'd just get a Tiger, Thruxton, and Street Triple all at once and be done.
