Hi all, just picked up my tiger 800xc today- I was waiting for my ktm 950 smr to get serviced and while killing time decided to have a look in bevan motorcycles in Cardiff- saw the xc which I have had my eye on for a few weeks and decided to part exchange my bike there and then for it. I'm 6'5 so I had been looking for something a bit taller and more comfortable. Sorting the insurance out tomorrow so I can get a good ride out in the evening- cant wait!!!

Great choice for the taller person is the Tiger 800 XC, I think they are great bikes but then I am biased and own a 2014 Tiger 800 XC SE :smile: What colour have you gone for? Are they still offering the free top box, heated grips and touring screen? Recently did a 2400 miles ride to the Alps on mine and had a great time (although may have to do something with the seat which is a little uncomfortable on long trips) Have fun and post some pictures when you get it :upyeah:
Thanks for the welcome guys- it's that nice deep orange colour- I got the heated grips and the touring screen but no top box- probably wouldn't use it anyway may invest in some nice panniers soon though. I'm certainly looking forward to putting some miles on it that's for sure.
